Samsung’s L74 has a 7.2 megapixel CCD 3.6x optical zoom, and MPEG-4 recording . The 28mm wide-angle lens enables you to take wider pictures; the 3.6x optical zoom makes it possible to take pictures with different angles, all adding pleasure to your picture-taking. With the 28mm wide-angle lens, you can fit more people into your picture, or get a wider view of its subject. Also included is Samsung’s facial recognition function, which allow better composition in portraits and pictures featuring people.
The large 3.0'' Touch Screen allows you to set the functions quickly and conveniently. The Touch Screen provide a whole new way of operating the camera. Samsung L74 Reviews Techradar.com sums up the L74 wide: “Overall, the L74 isn't so much a camera as a collection of gimmicks in front of a CCD. It can take acceptable photos, in the right conditions, but none of its headline features are anywhere near the top of the game. The touch screen is slow where it should be fast, the lens blurred where it should be flexible and the World Travel Guide here where it should be in Outer Mongolia, buried under a yurt. Seriously” 3/10 Cnet.co.uk writes in conclusion to the L74 :” Although its wide lens and World Tour Guide are very useful features, the Samsung L74 Wide, available for around £160, simply has too many flaws to ignore. An irritating touchscreen interface, painfully slow performance and noise-filled photos make this a camera we simply can't recommend “ 5.8/10 |
